1. About GUITA

GUITA (the "Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our") is a guitar education platform operated by Lokal Portal, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Our Platform provides interactive guitar learning tools, including but not limited to:

• CAGED System Mapper
• Progression Master (coming soon)
• Scale Mania (coming soon)
• Strumming Mastery Techniques (coming soon)
• Other educational guitar content and tools

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Platform, you represent that you are:

• At least 18 years of age, OR
• At least 13 years of age with parental/guardian consent
• Legally capable of entering into binding contracts

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Platform.

3. Account and Access

3.1 Account Creation

When you purchase a course, you receive access credentials (typically a unique dashboard link). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your access link
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Personal Use Only

Your access is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may NOT:

• ❌ Allow multiple people to use your account
• ❌ Sell, transfer, or sublicense your access
• ❌ Use our content for commercial training or teaching without written permission

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, without refund.

4. Purchases and Payments

4.1 Pricing

• All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated
• Prices are subject to change, but changes do not affect existing purchases
• You pay the price displayed at the time of purchase

4.2 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• We do not store your credit card information
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for purchases

4.3 One-Time Payment

Our courses are sold as one-time payments with lifetime access. There are NO recurring charges unless explicitly stated at checkout.

4.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes based on your location. We may collect and remit taxes as required by law.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 How to Request a Refund

Email us at guita@lokal-portal.com within 30 days of your purchase date. Include:

• Your order confirmation number
• Email address used for purchase
• Brief reason for refund (optional but appreciated)

5.2 Refund Processing

• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
• Money is returned via your original payment method
• Your account access will be revoked upon refund

5.3 No Refund After 30 Days

Refunds are not available after 30 days from the date of purchase, except as required by law.

6. License and Intellectual Property

6.1 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course content for personal educational purposes only.

6.2 Ownership

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to:

• Interactive tools and software
• Text, graphics, images, videos
• Course materials and curriculum
• Logos, trademarks, and branding

6.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• ❌ Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• ❌ Use automated systems to scrape or download content
• ❌ Resell, rent, or sublicense our content

7. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' access to the Platform
• Use the Platform for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm others

8. Content Accuracy and Updates

8.1 Educational Content

While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees that our educational content is:

• 100% accurate or complete
• Suitable for your specific skill level
• Error-free or uninterrupted

8.2 Updates and Changes

We may update course content to improve quality. You will receive free updates to any courses you've purchased. We may also:

• Modify features or functionality
• Discontinue features (with notice)
• Add new content or tools

9. Third-Party Services

Our Platform uses third-party services, including:

• Stripe: Payment processing (governed by Stripe's terms)
• Hosting providers: Website hosting and delivery

We are not responsible for third-party services, their terms, or their privacy practices.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• Make you a proficient guitarist
• Achieve any specific learning outcome
• Meet your expectations or needs

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOKAL PORTAL and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall NOT be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Platform
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the course

10.4 Technical Issues

We are not liable for:

• Internet connectivity issues
• Browser compatibility problems
• Device or software failures
• Temporary Platform unavailability

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LOKAL PORTAL from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• Your use of the Platform
• Your sharing of access with unauthorized users

12. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the Platform at any time. To delete your account, contact us at guita@lokal-portal.com.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you:

• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Share your access credentials
• Abuse or exploit the Platform

Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless within the 30-day refund period.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date
• We will notify you via email for significant changes
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

If you don't agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request a prorated refund within the 30-day period.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by emailing guita@lokal-portal.com.

15.3 Jurisdiction

Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GUITA.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party.

16.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, wars, internet outages).
